We will be offering lavender oil distilling classes starting in August. Students will learn a brief history of distilling, types of stills available, processing styles, hints & recommendations. Participants will each receive a sample of the oil & floral waters they produce at the class.
Bill & Shana have been growing lavender since 2016 and began distilling in 2019. They have studied distilling first through classes provided by the United States Lavender Growers Association, by following the guidance of seasoned lavender distillers across the country and noted distiller, Ann Harman (Author of Harvest to Hydrosol).
Classes will be kept small in order to provide maximum participation time for each student.
