Propagated on the farm here in Quantico Village, Hebron, this cultivar does well on the Shore. Baby plants are kept outdoors & are hardened off, ready for the outdoors.
Angustifolia, velvety, dark purple-blue flowers are the hallmark of Lavender ‘Royal Velvet’, as are its rich fragrance and speedy growth habit. Tall, waving flower spikes last and last, and will bloom a second time after a mid-season harvest. Deer resistant, ‘Royal Velvet’s strong scent attracts plentiful bees and butterflies. Excellent for culinary, cutting and drying. The crème de la crème for culinary use.

Royal Velvet Lavender Plants- Pickup or Local Delivery only
Plant in a sunny location with no shade. Best planted on a mound in semi sandy soil for good drainage. Lavender roots will rot if left in soggy soil after rains. Plants should be 24" apart. Do not plant next to other plants that need daily watering.
Plants are guanteed for 30 days. Please return plant or provide a picture for refund or exchange.
