Order now for fall planting.  You will be contacted when your plants are ready for pickup or local delivery.  

 

Gallon pots, 4" pots & seedlings ordered by August 30th: Estimated pickup October 17th, add a week for each week ordered after that. They will be hardened off & ready to plant immediately. 

 

Note: Plants are grown from cuttings immediately after you order. Gallon plants will be larger & have deeper roots than a 4" inch or 50 ct flats, but they will be 6 weeks old and the equivalent size; they will not be the size of a 6 month or year old plant.

 

Propagated on the farm here in Quantico Village, Hebron, this cultivar does well on the Shore. Baby plants are kept outdoors & are already off, ready for the outdoors.

 

A rugged yet beautiful compact evergreen shrub with mounding, aromatic, gray foliage and an abundance of fragrant, rich lavender-colored flower spikes. Commonly used for perfumes, sachets, culinary cooking and oils. Dried sprigs will deter insects when placed in a closet or room. Color varies from dark purple – blues- lights – pinks, depending on your soils PH levels. 

 

Munstead lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Munstead') is named after Gertrude Jekyll's garden at Munstead Wood.
