Propagated on the farm here in Quantico Village, Hebron, this cultivar does well on the Shore. Baby plants are kept outdoors & hardened off, ready for the outdoors.
Shady Lady is an angustifolia, dwarf lavender and is the only known cultivar that does fine in semi-shade. We have been experimenting with it for three years, growing it mainly in pots and believe it will be an easy grower for our customers who prefer container gardening, but it also does very well planted directly in the ground. We won first prize with Shady Lady in our county fair this year!

Shady Lady Lavender Plants- Pickup or Local Delivery only
Plant in a sunny or semi-shaded location. Best planted in a large, 3 + gallon pot or on a mound in semi sandy soil for good drainage. Lavender roots will rot if left in soggy soil after it rains. Plants should be 18" apart. Do not plant next to other plants that need daily watering.
