Propagating Class

Grow Your Own Lavender

40 US dollars

Service Description

Propagation is the art of taking a small cutting from a healthy “mother” plant and growing it into a brand-new plant. Instead of starting from seed and waiting weeks for growth, propagation gives you a head start and faster results. 🌿 Why Propagation Matters for Lavender Lavender grown from seed often becomes a hybrid, meaning it won’t be identical to the parent plant. If you want to grow the same beautiful cultivars you see in our fields, propagation is the way to do it. It allows you to recreate the exact plant you love. ✂️ Learn From Experience Propagation isn’t always easy. Some plants root quickly, while others can be more challenging. At Wildwood, we’ve propagated thousands of plants over the past 10 years, and we’ll teach you how to: Select the right cuttings Provide the right amount of water Know when to remove humidity covers Recognize when roots are ready for transplanting You’ll gain hands-on experience and confidence to grow your own plants successfully. 🌼 What You’ll Take Home Each participant will create 48 new plants to grow at home! Choose your cuttings directly from our field Mix and match different lavender varieties All plants will be labeled so you can keep track Your cuttings will need about 6 weeks to establish strong roots.
