Sunset Yin Yoga & Star-bathing Meditation

One of my favorite things to do on the farm is watching the stars. I've woken up a few times after falling asleep; it's so relaxing.

We hope to create a similar experience with our new partnership with Olivia Wackett, Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW-C. Olivia contacted us with the idea of creating a Sunset Yin Yoga session followed with a Star-bathing Meditation. Yoga instructor, Jessica Rose, will guide guests through the Yin Yoga session, Bill King (co-owner & farmer) will explain the current constellations and points of interest in the night sky and Olivia will enlighten us with relaxation techniques.

It's June and the fields of lavender are blooming. The fireflies will be out at dusk. We’ll wrap up our yin session with a meditation and then take our time admiring the beautiful view of the evening sky.

Olivia explains, "It would mean so much to us if you would come. Share this post with your friend who would want to tag along with you! We’re welcoming women of all ages for this donation-based event."

✨If you’re interested in attending send a direct message (DM) to Olivia @actwitholivia for updates and more information! ✨

Star-bathing Meditation

Yin yoga is an ancient practice that perfectly complements your active (yang) practice or lifestyle. In the Yin practice, postures are held 1-5 minutes each. These long, meditative holds stretch the deep connective tissues of the body. Passive floor poses focus on the hips and spine, allowing you to release stress and tension. All levels are welcome.
